Laura Jamer joined George Brown College in January of 2023 as its first Director of Government Relations. Prior to GBC, she was with the Ontario Public Service for 16 years, spending the last four working closely with ministers and political staff as a deputy minister’s Executive Advisor. She is a proud Francophone, and a board member of Youthdale Treatment Centres. She lives in downtown Toronto with her husband, two kids, and pet turtle.
