As a Metis grandmother and Indigenous faculty member at NIC, Laura interweaves Indigenous approaches with academic writing, research, and critical thinking skills. She strives to create a classroom community that respects diverse learning styles and remains a safe space as students investigate and write about contemporary Indigenous issues.
