What to expect

Canada’s colleges and institutes are proud to be the primary postsecondary education providers for Indigenous learners. For the second consecutive year, Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) and the Indigenous Institutes Consortium (ICC) will co-host the event and convene a diverse group of experts, advocates, and supporters in Indigenous and postsecondary education from across Turtle Island. We’ll explore how leaders in Indigenous education can bridge skills gaps and effectively engage Indigenous learners and their knowledge to address Canada’s most pressing challenges. Attendees will also reflect on a unified vision for promoting, protecting, and valuing Indigenous culture, knowledge, and history throughout postsecondary education.
