Maureen Niwa received her MA/PhD in English from UVic, specializing in voice-centered narratives. She teaches English at Camosun College in Victoria, BC, and works there as an English Placement Counsellor in the Lansdowne Assessment & Testing Center. She has received a Camosun Student Success Award and two NISOD Awards.
