Lara (Lakota-Ukrainian) is an instructor with Portage College and has worked as a Manager with the Alberta Teaching Profession Commission and the First Nations, Metis and Inuit Curriculum Division of the Government of Alberta, an instructor to teachers with the Alberta Teachers’ Association, and a teacher in the K-12 system.
