Prior to her current role as Acting Dean in the School of Health & Wellness at Red Deer Polytechnic, Heather has experience as an Associate Dean and as Nursing Faculty. Heather has extensive experience in leadership and has experience working with Indigenous communities and developing curriculum related to trauma informed care and Indigenous health utilizing virtual reality as an alternate form of assessment.
