Kim Tekakwitha Martin is Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) from the community of Kahnawake, and currently sits as the Dean of Indigenous Education at John Abbott College. Kim is an advocate for Indigenous students’ access to and success in post-secondary education and she is also a member on the Indigenous governance council for the University de Montreal.
