Campus Pathways to Net Zero (E/SI)
In this panel discussion, member institutions share their journeys towards meeting net zero goals. From engaging stakeholders, developing and executing guiding documents, updating physical infrastructure, collecting and analyzing data, seeking funding opportunities, and including the many challenges along the way, this discussion will provide the audience with perspectives from institutions at different stages in this transformative journey. Questions and discussion will be centered around how to get started or continue down the pathways to net zero campuses. Sharing real-world examples provides encouragement for others to embark on their own journeys the country.
Red Deer Polytechnic will feature its collaborative approach between Campus Management and the Energy Innovation Centre. This collaboration sets an excellent example of how engagement across a campus and reaching out into industry and the community accelerate progress toward institutional goals, and grows talent regionally.
Champions from Lethbridge College, Bow Valley College and SAIT, will provide insight from multiple institutions in order to share an array of knowledge, tools, and ideas that will equip the audience to return home with new enthusiasm and solutions-oriented thinking.
