About

Guided by the theme Indigenous Pathways to Address Canada’s Challenges, Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) and the Indigenous Institutes Consortium (ICC) invite you to join leaders in Indigenous education, policy, and industry from across Turtle Island for two and a half days of sharing and learning.

Located in Mi’Kma’ki, the ancestral lands of the Mi’Kmaq people, this year’s event will discuss the importance of integrating Indigenous perspectives, knowledge, and practices into solutions for Canada’s most pressing issue, and explore how leaders in Indigenous education can bridge skills gaps and effectively engage Indigenous learners and communities valuing and using their knowledge to address these challenges. Attendees will also reflect on a unified vision for promoting, protecting, and valuing Indigenous culture, knowledge, and history throughout postsecondary education.
