Sara carries the name T̓łakwama’og̱wa, she is of Kwakwaka̱’wakw, Mowachat, Tlingit, English, and Scot ancestry and is a member of the Kwakiutl Nation. Sara is a language revitalization enthusiast, instructor, researcher, curriculum developer and founder of the Hase’ and Sanyakola Societies.
