Code of Conduct & Duty of Care

Code of conduct and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion

CICan is committed to respecting the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in everything that we do and to offering a harassment-free safe experience for all. Every person attending our events is asked to respect these principles and refrain from any derogatory comments or harassing behaviour, may that be online or in a face-to-face environment. Anyone violating these rules may be expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the organizers.

Duty of care

We recognize that COVID-19 remains a concern and we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all CICan events.  We encourage all attendees to protect themselves if they are at risk and protect others if they are not feeling well by following health precaution measures and recommendations provided by the jurisdictional provincial health services.

If you have any questions, please reach out to the CICan events team.
