2024-2025 CICan Marketing & Recruitment Mission

1. Services Included

• B2B Meetings: Participation in 1 orientation presentation and 1 full day of meetings with agents; Pre-selection and recruitment of education agencies; min. 15 one-on-one meetings with education agencies from the region; Presentations and briefings by Canadian embassy officials (TCS and IRCC); Handbook featuring agency profiles (and additional agent contacts, if applicable)
• Business Networking: Identification of institution/industry partners, schedule for institution/industry networking

• Complete event management and promotion
• College or institute logo on registration site and full profile in digital event catalogue; contact list of all event registrants; event management and logistics; one booth at in-person fairs.

2. Responsibilities of the College or Institute

• Colleges and institutes agree to pay for the costs of activities associated with the mission no later than 30 days after issuance of an invoice.
• The college or institute understands that CICan may hire the services of external suppliers to provide the services identified in this agreement.
• The college or institute shall be responsible for providing digital promotional images and information based on instructions provided by CICan.
• The college or institute shall assume all risks for representative participation in the event.

3. Responsibilities of CICan

• CICan will provide the institution with information regarding schedules and logistics. Registration cost will cover all activities (excluding meals and ground transport unless otherwise noted) detailed above.
• CICan will decide the sequence of presentations and agent meetings.

4. Cancellation Policy for Participating Institutions

• If the college or institute formally withdraws its registration 90 days prior to the event, CICan shall return the balance of funds after deducting wire transfer fees plus any expenses already incurred.
• If the college or institute formally withdraws its participation less than 60 days prior to the event, no refunds shall be issued by CICan.
• Formal withdrawal in the above should be sent to Kiley Fithen, Senior Project Officer at kfithen@collegesinstitutes.ca

5. Surveys

• For reporting purposes participants are required to submit satisfaction surveys and report back on outcomes of the event. will request this information from each participant.
