Candace Laing is the new President and CEO of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. With extensive leadership experience across sectors such as mining, manufacturing, agriculture, education, and healthcare, she brings a diverse skill set to her role. Candace spent over ten years at Nutrien, where she led the Sustainability and HR functions, playing a pivotal role in launching the company’s ESG initiatives and aligning people strategies with business objectives. Passionate about fostering strong, healthy organizations, she holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Graduate Certificates in Public Policy Analysis and Corporate Sustainability from the University of Saskatchewan and Harvard University, and a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University.
